As forthright as delicate, defiant of anything long-established, it always finds a way to reveal itself through the cracks and in the case of artistic duo and partners in life Studio Prokopiou (aka Phillip Prokopiou and Panayiotis Poimenidis), to unsettle, disturb and challenge. Haughty, commanding, disarmingly Camp and candid, their work is distinguished by a visually eclectic and idiosyncratic aesthetic, weaving together themes of Greekness, Pop culture and Queer identity — where kitsch and good taste can harmoniously coexist…

Ακατέργαστη, υπερφυσική, η queer φωτογραφία δεν σταματά να με εκπλήσσει ποτέ. Ειλικρινής όσο κι ευαίσθητη, βρίσκει πάντα τον τρόπο
να αποκαλύπτεται μέσα από τις ρωγμές αψηφώντας καθετί αναχρονιστικό, και στην περίπτωση του καλλιτεχνικού ντουέτου και συντρόφων στη ζωή Studio Prokopiou (Φίλιππος Προκοπίου και Παναγιώτης Ποιμενίδης) να προβληματίσει, ναδιαταράξει, να προκαλέσει.
